Farmers in Hohhot, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region are getting ready for the annual harvest season.
This year the city is expected to see a bumper harvest thanks to above-average rainfall.
Agriculture is a key part of the local economy, with crops produced on increasingly large farms using standardized production methods.
The local area has experienced falling levels of poverty and rising incomes in recent years.
