IMU teams win big at League of Legends contest

Three teams from Inner Mongolia University (IMU) won the top three prizes at the Inner Mongolia division of the 2018 League of Legends collegiate league (LCL) held at IMU new campus, Hohhot, capital of Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Nov 4.
As the most popular MOBA (multiplayer online battle arena) game in the world, the tournament attracted 21 teams from universities across Inner Mongolia to participate.
Following fierce competition, the WNCG team from IMU won the championship, with two other teams from IMU winning second and third place.
At the same time, the organizing committee of the contest also live streamed the Season 8th League of Legends World Championship. Students from various universities and gaming enthusiasts cheered on China's IG team, as they competed in the tournament.
